I
attended the Remembrance Parade and outdoor service on Remembrance
Sunday.
I was impressed by how many people turned out to
show their respects - veterans, the young and the
old.
I
could not help but shed tears for the lives lost not
only from the past but for the most recent losses. I
know many service men and have an ongoing, silent prayer
for their safety.
I have never felt so moved at
Remembrance Sunday before, it was undoubtedly the most
poignant one I have ever attended.
I
hope you all gave the fallen at least a single thought
even if you did not hold the 2 minutes silence.
Life
would be very different now if it were not for those who
fought for us and our future.
Let
us never forget the fallen.
